Welcome to Hilltop Cuddle Pups! These Terms & Conditions (“T&C”) govern your use of our website and your participation in the puppy adoption process. By placing a deposit or using this site, you agree to the terms outlined below.​​
1. Puppy Deposit & Purchase Terms

A non-refundable $500 deposit is required to hold your puppy. This deposit applies toward the final purchase price.

The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including a change of mind or inability to complete the purchase.

At our discretion, a deposit may be transferred to a future litter if available within two calendar years.

Merle puppies are priced at $2,500, and all other patterns are $2,300. The remaining balance is due in full by the time your puppy turns 8 weeks old, regardless of pick-up date.
2. Pick-Up, Extended Stay, & Delivery

Puppies are ready for pick-up around 8 weeks of age.

Extended stay beyond 8 weeks incurs a $15/day boarding fee, payable in advance.

Delivery may be available upon request and is the responsibility of the buyer. Any travel costs or arrangements must be discussed and agreed upon prior to payment.

3. Refunds & Rehoming

If your chosen puppy becomes unavailable before final payment (due to illness, injury, etc.), you may:

Request a full refund of your deposit, or
-
Transfer your deposit to another available or future puppy within two years.

If you can no longer care for your dog at any point, you agree to contact Hilltop Cuddle Pups first. Rehoming or surrendering to a shelter is strictly prohibited.

No refund is given if a dog is returned unless the return is due to a verified medical issue covered by the health guarantee.
4. Health Guarantee

Your puppy will receive a vet exam and age-appropriate vaccinations before going home.

Buyers must take the puppy to a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of pickup.
-
If the puppy is deemed unfit for purchase by a vet within that period, and is returned within 7 business days, a full refund will be provided.

The breeder provides a 2-year genetic health guarantee for testable hereditary defects only.

To qualify, documentation and test results must be submitted in writing and a second veterinary opinion may be requested.

If a covered defect causes death within 2 years, a credit toward a future puppy will be offered (no refunds).
-
Conditions not covered include: parasites, infections, behavioral concerns, injuries, orthopedic conditions without genetic confirmation, or illness due to neglect or improper care.
5. Pet-Only Agreement

Puppies are sold as companions only.

Breeding is strictly prohibited unless a separate breeding agreement is signed.

If a dog is bred without permission, all guarantees are void and a $3,000 breeding rights fee will be owed.
6. Spay/Neuter Requirement
-
Buyer agrees to spay or neuter their puppy by the age of 2 years.
-
Proof of procedure must be provided upon request.
7. Ownership & Responsibilities
-
Full ownership transfers to the buyer upon final payment.
-
Puppies must live indoors, receive regular vet care, grooming, and be kept at a healthy weight.

Buyer agrees to provide yearly updates and notify Hilltop Cuddle Pups of any major health or behavioral issues throughout the dog’s life.
8. Social Media & Marketing

By signing the contract, the buyer grants permission for any updates, photos, or videos they share to be used in Hilltop Cuddle Pups’ marketing or social media.
9. Insurance Recommendation
-
A 30-day free trial of Trupanion pet insurance is available. Buyer must activate it within 24 hours of pickup.
10. Website Use & Content
-
All text, photos, and content on our site are the property of Hilltop Cuddle Pups and may not be copied or distributed without permission.
11. Governing Law & Legal Terms
-
This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Tennessee.
-
If any portion is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
